What did you want to be when you grew up?
Wonder Woman!! I really wanted to have superpowers to change the big wide world around me…
How do you relax?
Walk in the park, play with my three Jack Russel dogs, go horse riding, drink cold white wine while I laugh at life with my best friends.
Your favorite spot in Madrid?
There is a pine tree park on calle Lopez de Hoyos. (My name means Pine Tree: María del Pino.)
Your favorite quote?
Right now, I love “When the pupil is ready, the master appears.”
What do you wish someone told you when you were in graduate school?
That I would learn so much more from failure than success. That life isn’t about succeeding, but about learning. And that life isn’t about getting what you want, but about learning to really, really want what you get.
